THE AUTHOR
Born in Fiji to a large family with roots in Punjab, India, the author’s life was shaped by the hardships faced by his father, who was orphaned at a young age. Even with all these challenges, the author was determined and worked hard to overcome the crisis and hardships.
He valued education and dreamed of becoming a pilot in America. His beliefs extended to promoting health, education, and exploration. His ultimate goal was to raise a well-educated family and share their experiences with the world, all while maintaining kindness and dignity.
Mahendra, the author of this book, was born in a place called Caubati, located in Suva, which is part of the beautiful Fiji Islands. He was welcomed into a large family, being one of 11 children. His family was a mix of cultures, with his parents hailing from Punjab, India, and he also had a half-sister.
His father’s life was full of hardship. At the age of 5, his father became an orphan due to the untimely death of his father from an illness that remains unknown. Following his father’s death, his mother was sent back to her village as per the strict customs of Punjab. Growing up as an orphan, his father faced numerous troubles in life. His uncle took on the responsibility of raising him. His father’s life was filled with many nights of hunger and sleeplessness. Despite these misfortunes, he managed to get married twice before deciding to migrate to Fiji.
Just like his father, Mahendra, who was born in Fiji, he faced his own set of challenges right from the moment of birth. However, he possessed a strict natural behavior that shaped his life. He was a disciplinarian, a strong advocate for education, and a person who always aimed to achieve his goals. His kindness towards others was obvious in his actions. Throughout his life, Mahendra did many things that tested his courage and strength. From a very young age, he had a dream. He wanted to become a pilot. This dream was not just a fleeting thought but a goal that he chose to achieve.
Mahendra strongly believed in supporting health and education. He saw fitness as an important part of life and was passionate about exploring the world. He believed that these things were interconnected and necessary for a fulfilling life. His mission in life was not just about personal achievement. He wanted to raise a family that valued education and stability. He wanted his family to share their experiences with the world, doing so with dignity and kindness towards others.
